About the role
A great role for an accountant early in their career who wants real ownership and fast growth. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping for UAE clients, support VAT and reporting, and learn how a modern, automation-first accounting practice works.
Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile transactions, invoices, expenses and bank statements
- Support month-end close and prepare draft reports
- Assist with VAT return preparation
- Keep client records organised and documented
- Work with the team to resolve queries accurately and on time
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 1+ year of accounting experience (UAE experience a plus)
- Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- Good Excel/spreadsheet skills and strong attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to UAE VAT
- Experience with cloud accounting software
- Pursuing a professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA)
