About the role

You will run full-cycle accounting for a set of UAE businesses — from day-to-day bookkeeping through month-end close, VAT, and reporting — while helping raise the standard of the whole team. This is a hands-on senior role for someone who enjoys both the detail and the bigger picture.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, reconciled books and lead month-end close for assigned clients
• Prepare VAT returns and support Corporate Tax preparation
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Review and mentor junior accountants
• Identify and implement process and automation improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience with UAE experience
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT
• Solid IFRS and double-entry fundamentals
• Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/CA/CPA)
• Experience with cloud accounting software
• Experience serving multiple clients in an outsourced setting
